Purpose
 
This role is responsible for driving improvements in the financial transaction processes, including banking, payment processing and treasury functions to enhance efficiency, accuracy and security of financial transactions to support FCTG’s operational and strategic goals. This includes identifying, designing and implementing process improvement initiatives and global system solutions. The position on offer is based at our South Bank head office and the successful applicant would be required to work on-site Monday-Friday.

Primary Accountabilities
 
Process Excellence
  • Continuously analyse current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enhance the accuracy of operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to continually refine and improve transactional financial processes
  • Create solutions to transactional finance challenges by applying financial, treasury and banking knowledge
  • Design process improvement initiatives and/or global system solutions
  • Actively challenge accepted operational wisdom across FCTG businesses
Global Process & System Implementation & Management
  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of global transactional finance system solutions, ensuring consistency and integration across all regions
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure global transactional finance processes are followed, and system solutions are used correctly
  • Oversee system configuration, testing and deployment to ensure seamless operation and minimal business disruption
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with key global stakeholders and external vendors
  • Continuously monitor and improve implemented global systems
Control & Compliance Focus
  • Understand best practice control environment and actively recommend control improvement opportunities
  • Ensure process and procedures minimise risk of loss to FCTG and identify areas of risk to be mitigated
  • Understand key requirements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Ensure compliance with Global Treasury Policy
Team Support & Development
  • Support and foster team environment and culture
  • Provide support to other team members and Treasury teams as required
  • Accountability and ownership of own performance and meeting team expectations

Experience
  • 5+ Years Experience in Transactional Finance, Banking or Treasury with a focus on Process Improvement and Global System Implementation

Education and Experience
  • Finance or Business Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
