This is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing corporate travel business supporting Europe under our global FCM brand, recognised as one of the top five corporate travel TMCs both locally and globally.

The role involves working closely with team members in the UK and equivalent roles across key European markets, including Spain, Switzerland, and France. The individual will be responsible for delivering excellence across Financial Control, Customer Focus, and Process Efficiency. This includes managing Accounts Payable (for both Travel and Head Office payables), Accounts Receivable, and FCM Invoicing.

As a subject matter expert, the individual will require a deep understanding of end-to-end process flows to troubleshoot and resolve queries effectively. Proactive coordination of France's MBO migration will be a critical focus, ensuring milestones are met while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. This includes having the confidence and accountability to escalate issues or highlight gaps where necessary.

The role will have the following focus:

• Embedding newly designed processes, ensuring all key operational success metrics are in place, tracked and reported in a timely manner

• Ensure all key controls are in place and fit for purpose

• Ensure appropriate reconciliation processes are in place for all key balance sheet accounts and are reconciled to agreed standards of timeliness and accuracy.

• Ensure appropriate SLAs are in place with front end businesses (consultants and teams) and the correct processes are in place to monitor and track performance against these SLAs.

• Establish the appropriate communication channels and ensure they are operating effectively to ensure Transactional Finance is delivering on its commitments.

• Individually and collectively drive a heightened level of customer focus in all dealings with front end businesses, external clients and suppliers.

• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members, drive strategic decisions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Coordinate the transition of responsibilities to the UK-based team, ensuring processes are clearly defined, documented, and effectively handed over.

• Utilize project management skills to provide regular status updates, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure seamless coordination across all stakeholders.

Criteria of Successful Candidate:

To be successful in the role the candidate will have the following key competences and experiences:

• French speaking is essential

• Previous experience in Transactional Finance (2 year minimum) – AP, AR, Invoicing and Bank Reconciliations

• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with an ability to communicate with finance and non-finance individuals

• Intermediate level of Excel experience required

• A strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of accuracy.
