About the opportunity

Laurier Du Vallon is part of FCTG and has been in the Canadian travel landscape for over 60 years. We're a proud member of Virtuoso and make our clients travel dreams a reality. From a Villa Rental in Tuscany to Private Aviation to a Customized Trip to South East Asia with private and exclusive amenities.

We are looking for travel luxury travel advisors with a current book of business who are looking to enhance their clients experience and grow through repeat and referrals.

As well, we are looking for people who want to take part in Virtuoso Conferences and Supplier Events to both network and increase your knowledge about the products you're selling.

We will be hosting VIP Events inviting our Top Clients and bringing together our key suppliers to create exceptional travel experiences. 

Your business can be as large as your personal marketing can take you.

You will also be working towards KPI's and commission targets so building your customer relationships and having referral business will be critical to your success in this role.

This position is currently a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days/week working in the Toronto LDV office. We meet our clients by appointment only.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Working with the industry for 2 years or more. 
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma preferred.
  • A book of business with minimum monthly sales of $75,000
  • Knowledge of travel products, systems, and processes
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.   
  • Competency in Microsoft Suite Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and effective organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent quality documentation skills, both technical and non-technical.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $45,000 plus commission/incentive earnings based on achievable targets. The salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements. On target earnings average range between $75,000 - $100,000, with uncapped commissions and earning potential based on performance. The annual salary range listed represents the total compensation package, excluding benefits.
