About the Opportunity
As part of the Discova finance team, the Accounting Assistant is responsible for maintaining the company's system of accounts and light book keeping, asset maintenance, records on all company transactions and responsible for tracking petty cash.
We are looking for a superstar who has a strong desire for accuracy and high attention to details and find success in completeness of supporting documents for the transactions before processing.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with internal parties such as operations, reservations, sales, tour guides and accountants
- Support business needs from Country Manager
- Record entries in accounting system timely and accurately
- Responsible for cash advance payment/collection/tracking
- Co-ordinate with other departments to verify and clear discrepancies with supplier
- Review payable & receivable balance with internal and external suppliers/customers periodically
- Ensure invoice from suppliers meets all local regulations
- Settle OPEX payment on time
About you
- Must have eligibility to work in Japan
- Must speak Japanese (minimum N1 or local) and business level english. Vietnamese language is an advantage
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance or similar
