We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Global Treasury Banking & Payment Solutions team as Delivery Leader.  As the Delivery Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising transactional banking, supplier payments, employee expense reimbursement, purchasing card, virtual credit cards and other transactional finance functions.  This role involves managing both onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless, efficient and compliant processes.

Your role will look like … 

Leadership & Team Management - 30%

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of transactional finance professionals across onshore and offshore locations.
  • Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and development opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the offshore team, ensuring clear and efficient exchange of information, instructions, and feedback.

Transaction Management - 30%

  •  Oversee the end-to-end transactional banking, supplier payments, employee expense reimbursement, purchasing card, virtual credit cards and other transactional finance functions.
  • Coordinate activities between onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless transaction processing. 
  • Manage the maintenance of user and vendor master data, including setup and changes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Ensure accurate, efficient and timely processing of transactions, minimising errors and discrepancies.

Customer Service - 15%

  • Ensure effective management of all internal and external queries relating to banking, payments, purchasing cards and virtual credit cards.
  • Manage and resolve banking, payment and credit card exceptions escalations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members to gather necessary information, clarify discrepancies, and provide updates on exception resolution.

Control & Compliance Focus - 10%

  • Understand best practice control environment and actively recommend control improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain strict control environment with appropriate segregation of duties.
  • Perform periodic audits of accounts payable transactions to identify and resolve errors, discrepancies, and potential fraud.
  • Ensure process and procedures minimise risk of loss to FCTG and identify areas of risk to be mitigated. 
  • Ensure compliance with Global Treasury Policy

Innovation & Process Improvement - 10%

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the accuracy of operations.
  • Actively challenge accepted operational wisdom across FCTG businesses.

Team Support & Development - 5%

  • Provide support to other Treasury teams as required.
  • Support and foster team environment and culture.
  • Exceed behavioural expectations of the team.
  • Accountability and ownership of own performance and meeting team expectations.
  • Support FCTG philosophies.

 

 

 

We’d love to hear from you if you have… 

  • 5+ Years Accounts Payable/Receivable and/or Banking Experience in a Senior Role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites 
  • Knowledge of Flight Centre Systems 
  • Travel Industry knowledge 
  • A finance or business degree (or studying towards)
